Job Title: Advanced Reactor Technologies Expert
Job Purpose
The Expert is crucial for providing strategic and technical advisory support to the Nuclear Research and Development Vice President and ENEC ADVANCE, enhancing Research and Development capabilities, integrating emerging technologies, and ensuring ENEC’s leadership in nuclear innovation and the successful deployment of Small and Advanced Modular Reactors (SAMR) through technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and commercial viability.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations to the VP on SAMRs deployment and investment opportunities,based on technical assessments, ensuring alignment with ENEC’s long-term objectives and national energy priorities.
• Provide expert guidance to the VP in assessing and integrating advanced technologies for nuclear power plants,
identifying opportunities for technology-driven enhancements, operational efficiencies, and sustainability advancements through structured evaluations.
• Provide Expert guidance on the initiation of new programs that deemed having a higher need across the industry that
have an impact on BNPP
• Assist the VP in evaluating and prioritizing R&D projects based on business needs, technological advancements,
regulatory trends, and market opportunities.
• Advise the VP on sustainability strategies, ensuring that the company’s R&D efforts are aligned with global R&D
efforts in the nuclear industry
• Outline and detail long-term initiatives for potential deployment and investment opportunities in SAMRs technologies.
• Conduct market research and provide insights into the latest nuclear technology developments to inform strategic
decisions.
• . Provide expert guidance on the development of essential specialized technical capabilities to drive R&D programs
successfully.
• Ensure the alignment of technical and strategic aspects with organizational goals by integrating best practices and
industry standards.
• Shape and refine the ADVANCE Program Roadmap, ensuring its ongoing alignment with ENEC’s strategic vision,
national energy policies, and evolving market dynamics.
Feasibility Studies
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Lead and oversee feasibility studies, including but not limited to techno-commercial, siting, regulatory, and operation
and maintenance assessments to ensure the viability of SAMRs projects.
• Ensure thorough evaluation of SAMRs technologies for deployment by performing detailed technical due diligence.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with SMR and AR technologies.
• Strong industrial network and experience.
• Proven ability to conduct detailed technical assessments and feasibility
studies.
Experience
10 years of relevant experience.
Extensive experience with SMR and AR technologies. Knowledge of international regulatory licensing requirements and emerging global SMR streamlining frameworks and challenges. Strong industrial network and experience. Proven ability to conduct detailed feasibility studies. Excellent strategic planning and technical assessment skills. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in conducting research in
national labs or applied research centers
