Job Title: Applications Delivery Specialist - Plant Support
Job Purpose
The Applications Delivery Specialist is responsible for the successful deployment, integration, and ongoing delivery of business applications within the corporate environment. This role manages the end-to-end application delivery lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are implemented on time, within scope, and aligned with business requirements. The Applications Delivery Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to coordinate releases, manage risks, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance throughout the delivery process.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the deployment of business applications and related updates.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery and integration of applications.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle, escalating as needed.
• Ensure delivery timelines, scope, and quality standards are met in accordance with project plans.
• Maintain documentation related to application delivery processes, configurations, and support procedures.
• Participate in change management processes and coordinate release activities to minimize business disruption.
• Facilitate communication among project teams, business units, and external vendors during delivery phases.
• Monitor post-deployment performance and support handover to operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and IT governance frameworks.

• Testing Strategy Implementation: Support comprehensive testing strategies to meet required quality standards and ensure application functionality.
• Automated Testing Support: Contribute to integrating automated testing tools for enhanced testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Documentation Creation: Maintaining detailed documentation for testing processes, deployment procedures, and issue resolution.
Operations Support & Incident Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Ongoing Application Support: Own day-to-day support, resolving technical issues quickly to ensure high availability and performance.
• Incident and Problem Resolution: Lead efforts in incident resolution, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor application performance, suggest optimizations, and implement improvements.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct detailed root cause analysis for incidents and recommend preventative measures

Experience
