Job Title: Cost Control Specialist
Job Purpose
Verify, monitor and control departmental budget, outage budget, accruals and spend of Outage Services contracts against all parameters defined in the contract and rigorously control all changes affecting governed contracts in line with the contract performance management guidelines and ENEC Operations procedures.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Contract Monitoring
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Ensure adherence to service execution standards to uphold contract compliance and mitigate contractual risks.
• Oversee the management of service management systems and databases for effective cost control, ensuring comprehensive tracking of all associated costs.
• Supervise the progress of contract development to guarantee that scheduled milestones are achieved in line with established procedures, facilitating efficient outage preparation.
• Administer the disbursement of retention funds to facilitate effective financial management and ensure timely compensation processes.
• Generate and manage detailed reports on contract status, project progress, performance metrics, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for contract owners and management, providing stakeholders with critical updates on relevant issues.
• Oversee non-compliances through Condition Report (CR) System to ensure remediation of issues.
• Implement a systematic schedule for auditing contract documentation and performing quality checks to verify adherence to contract terms and relevant regulations.
• Oversee the verification and maintenance of all contract documentation within designated systems, ensuring accurate storage, effective version control, and accessibility of stored information.
• Develop and monitor expenditure forecasts and cost reporting of various projects and contracts to enable timely cost control.
• Monitor and control deviations from agreed baselines regarding cost and schedule for approved Outage services within Turbine and Refuel Services, Outage Management, or other ENEC Operations organizations utilizing major contracts, providing leadership with timely updates on critical discrepancies.
Contract Change Monitoring
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Engage with the designated Project Manager to formulate comprehensive business cases for projects and the procurement of large-scale items, ensuring that all large-scale items are managed appropriately and in accordance with organizational standards.
• Monitor and control all changes affecting projects are controlled so that accountability is maintained throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Ensure that all modifications impacting projects are systematically controlled to maintain accountability throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
• Assist the Nuclear Contracts Performance team in initiating Requests For Change (RFC) in alignment with governance

Professional Certifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in general management, Business Administration.
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in general management, Business Administration, Engineering Management, Project Management or similar discipline.
Experience
3 years of experience in nuclear industry.
3 years of experience in UAE
