Job Purpose
Carry out field sample collections and transport as well as daily environmental radiochemistry laboratory checks, sample preparations, supplies and keep the environmental radiochemistry laboratory functioning at a high level. Implement and operate the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

•Operate the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to support lab operations.
Environmental Radiochemistry Laboratory Operations
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Implement all procedures to ensure adherence to management system best practices by preparing, collecting and processing samples and conducting any tasks required by other lab team members.
•Monitor and file issues and resolve Corrective Actions of all issues discovered to improve relative to experience.
•Collect and transport field samples to inform laboratory analysis.
The incumbent is expected to perform standard activities as per attachments 4 & 5 in the Job Description procedure (relating to Health, Safety and Environment, Security and Business Continuity, People Management, Excellence and Quality Management

•2 years of relevant experience.

•Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
•5 years technical lab experience in a radiochemistry lab industrial laboratory related to nuclear power.
•Diploma.
•2 years of relevant experience.
Or equivalent as stated in the Job Description Procedure (HR-PRC-0004).
Preferred
