Job Purpose

Lead and govern the end to end Project Management function for HVAC systems, chiller replacement programs, cooling infrastructure upgrades, and long term maintenance and asset sustainability plans, ensuring that all projects derived from the Asset Management Plan (AMP), Long Term Asset Management (LTAM), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Plant Facilities initiatives, and Ad Hoc works are delivered in compliance with FANR requirements, IAEA standards, and ENEC Operations procedures.The role ensures safe, reliable, and lifecycle optimized HVAC and cooling systems that support plant availability, personnel safety, environmental protection, and long term operational resilience

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Lead the HVAC and Chiller Project Portfolio within ENEC Operations, covering capital projects, replacements, upgrades, refurbishments, and long‑term maintenance initiatives derived from AMP, LTAM, ECRs, Plant Facilities, and Ad‑Hoc scopes.
•    Act as the single accountable domain owner for HVAC and chiller projects, ensuring technical consistency, prioritization, and alignment with plant operational needs.
•    Translate strategic direction and governance requirements set by the Project Management Manager into executable, domain‑specific project plans and delivery strategies.
•    Ensure portfolio‑level integration between project delivery, long‑term maintenance planning, and asset lifecycle objectives
Lead all Project Management activities related to the initiation, planning, execution, and closeout of all HVAC and chiller projects.
•    Ensure project initiation, planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting activities are executed in compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and approved project governance frameworks.
•    Lead key interface with other organizational functions on all related Project Management activities. 
•    Lead the management of key project stakeholder expectations and provide periodic communication to all relevant personnel as part of the project portfolio. 
•    Lead the development and ensure the accuracy and quality of all required project documentation for submission to Project Review Boards.
•    Lead proactive identification and mitigation of technical, operational, supply chain, and execution risks, particularly for works performed in live plant environments.
•    Support the Project Management Manager in portfolio‑level reporting and decision‑making through accurate domain insights.
Provide leadership and coordination for HVAC SME and Chiller SME roles within the organization.
•    Ensure technical standards, design philosophies, equipment selection criteria, and maintainability requirements are consistently applied across all HVAC and chiller projects.
•    Ensure lessons learned, operating experience, and reliability data are systematically captured and embedded into future designs and long‑term maintenance plans.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities (contd.)

Provide leadership and coordination to HVAC/Chiller Execution Leads responsible for site execution and field coordination.
•    Ensure alignment between project management plans and field execution strategies, particularly for online works, phased execution, and outage‑constrained activities.
•    Interface with the Project Execution organization to ensure execution readiness, constructability, and compliance with plant access, safety, and quality requirements.
•    Monitor execution performance, identifying risks or deviations early and implementing corrective actions in coordination with Project Execution leadershi

Lead the development and execution of long term maintenance, refurbishment, and replacement strategies for chillers and HVAC systems aligned with long term asset management objectives.
•    Ensure project scopes are aligned with asset lifecycle objectives, obsolescence management, and reliability‑centered maintenance principles.
•    Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to ensure alignment between capital projects and long term maintenance program

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of systems, procedures, and governance applicable to HVAC and cooling infrastructure activities.
•    Monitor and report operational and financial KPIs for the HVAC/chiller project portfolio and long‑term maintenance plans.
•    Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent reporting to senior management and governance forum

Professional Certifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (or Equivalent) Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related Science.

Experience

6+ years of experience in industrial, utility, or nuclear project management, plant modifications, and/or long term maintenance planning with demonstrated leadership of HVAC or large mechanical systems portfolio
