Job Purpose

Lead the Project Execution function and support the ENEC Operations Project Management and Execution business unit by ensuring that plant projects listed on the Asset Management Plan (AMP), which are derived from Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Long Term Asset Management (LTAM), Plant Facilities, and Ad Hoc projects are performed in accordance with Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) requirements, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) standards, and ENEC Operations procedures, to ensure nuclear safety, employee safety and environment protection, and overall business requirements are met.

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Project Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:  
•    Lead all Project Management activities related to the planning and execution of all projects within the project portfolio. 
•    Lead key interface with the Project Control, Material and Scheduling, and the Project Execution Divisions on all related Project Management activities.
•    Lead the management of key project stakeholder expectations and provide periodic communication to all relevant personnel as part of the project portfolio.
•    Lead the development and ensure the accuracy and quality of all required project documentation for submission to Project Review Boards
Cost and Risk Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Lead and ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements the development of all estimating, budgeting, cost management, and risk management project management activities.
Operational Planning
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•    Provide input into the development of the Department’s systems and processes, as well develop, and implement the Section’s procedures, identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement of practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
•    Monitor, control and report Operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the Section, to track performance and recommend corrective or mitigating actions.
•    Ensure that all relative reports are prepared timely and accurately, to meet the Section’s requirements and standards.
Health and Safety, Security, and Business Continuity
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the Section by the delivery of the Health and Safety Management Program to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality services and a responsible environmental attitude.
•    Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others, and corporate assets.
•    Ensure the compliance with Business Continuity and Resilience requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to the effective planning for, and response to, incidents or business disruptions to continue critical business processes and activities with minimal adverse impact.

•    Manage the effective achievement of the Organization’s objectives by setting individual targets, developing, and motivating staff, and providing formal and informal constructive feedback and appraisal – to maximize subordinate and Section’s performance.
•    Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
•    Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance

Professional Certifications

Pref - 

•    Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
•    Track record of having Maintenance and Project Execution experience of online/outage projects

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Management, Operations Management or Project Management Degree.

Experience

6 years of relevant experience.

Pref - 

•    9 years nuclear general/line management or nuclear project/ prog ram management experience with evidence of fulfilling support, control, and assurance roles as a Projects Management/Project Controls function (e.g., scheduling, contract, construction management), out of which:
•    3 years in Lead Program Office positions.
•    4 years in a supervisory / managerial role in a nuclear power plant.
•    Shall have familiarity with:
•    Crafts and skills associated with the maintenance of a nuclear power plant and the installation of Systems, Structures and components.
•    Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) Nuclear Power Plant experience at an operational site and or Advanced Pressurized-water Reactor APR-1400, Open Pool Reactor (OPR)-1000 or Combustion Engineering Nuclear Steam Supply System (CE NSSS) Design, Work Management or Outage Management experience, as applicable for position.
•    Codes and Standards for electrical, mechanical, pressure vessel and piping maintenance.
