Job Title: Nuclear Specification Technical Engineer
Job Purpose
Participate in the development and implementation of Nuclear Procurement Engineering (NPE) processes, policies and procedures. Support core engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation and control) in performance of Nuclear Procurement Engineering (NPE) activities.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Catalogue Development
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Contribute to the development of component Bill of Materials to ensure procurement readiness.
• Provide support for the development and maintenance of all NSE data including material masters in SAP to enable efficient inventory queries.
• Support the identification and cataloguing of critical spares to ensure all materials are accounted for in the inventory.
• Perform data collection and cleansing processes in NSE to prepare for the review and validate fidelity of records
Product Development
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Perform NPE evaluations with oversight provided from qualified NSE for material and services to determine the safety class, technical and quality requirements, and storage requirements for generic specifications to enable efficient replacement of high-volume inventory.
• Conduct walkdowns to assist in Procurement Evaluations and to obtain as built information to support parts availability
• Gather Data from Quality Verification Documents (QVD) for MM evaluations and compare to as installed information to address configuration management discrepancies between paper plant and physical plant
Supply Chain Support

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Apply resolutions of technical discrepancies identified during material receipt inspection to ensure operational excellence.
• Conduct walkdown of Inventory in Warehouse to help address material issues well as address OSP/ CSP stock duplications.
• Support Over, Short, Damage, Discrepant (OSDD) defect report resolution and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) disposition.
Professional Certifications
Member of the Charter Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) or other procurement qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (or Equivalent) Degree in Engineering or related Science.
Experience
2 years’ experience,
Pref - 3 years of operating commercial Nuclear Plant experience.
