Job Title: Project Manager
Job Purpose
Plan, develop, and deliver HVAC and chiller projects through all phases of the project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, commissioning, and close‑out) in accordance with ENEC Operations’ project management governance, safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Act as the primary project delivery lead for assigned HVAC/chiller projects, coordinating internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure safe execution, regulatory compliance, and successful handover to Operations and Maintenance.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Lead assigned HVAC and chiller projects in compliance with approved Project Management Plans, safety requirements, and governance processes.
• Direct and lead in providing safety, quality and schedule in order to ensure appropriate management for Project management.
• Direct key interface with the Project Management, and Project Control, Material and Scheduling Divisions on all related Project Execution activities.
• Advise on corrective actions or methods of repair for any deficiency or non-conformance identified in order to ensure work is carried out in an adequate and correct manner.
• Provide guidance, direction and advice (as required) to the contractor and subcontractors to support construction methods, materials, and equipment and work sequences
• Direct the interface with Plant Maintenance, Operations, Outages, and Quality to ensure governance compliance with all processes and procedures.
• Maintain focus on project safety objectives, and lead the implementation of appropriate corrective action, where necessary, in order to ensure that all relevant objectives are fulfilled
• Develop Project Charter, Project Execution Plans, estimating plans and contract formulation activities, as they relate to Barakah Projects Development.
• Ensuring scope, design basis and objectives are defined, best practices/lessons learned reviewed, detailed work plans, schedules, budgets and procedures are established.
• Ensuring integration of work plans with interfacing stakeholders and obtaining concurrence with project team members and the stakeholders. Promotes the use of constructability reviews during project execution.
• Ensuring that the delivery dates of the product, service, or result; project life cycle; and the benefits management plan are aligned.
• Developing a Project Management Plan (PMP) to achieve the project objectives.
• Ensuring the creation and the use of the appropriate knowledge to and from the project as necessary.
• Managing the performance and changes of the activities in the Project Management Plan.
• Making integrated decisions regarding key changes impacting the project.
• Measuring and monitoring the project’s progress and taking appropriate action to meet project objectives.
• Collecting data on the results achieved, analyzing the data to obtain information, and communicating this information to relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to collect project requirements through determining, documenting, and managing stakeholder needs and requirements to meet project objectives.
• Defining the scope by developing a detailed description of the project and ensuring that the project scope includes all the work required, and only the work required, to complete the project successfully.
• Creating Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) by subdividing project deliverables and project work into smaller, more manageable components.
• Validating the scope by formalizing the acceptance criteria of the completed project deliverables.
• Controlling the scope through monitoring the status of the project and managing the changes to the scope baselines.
• Identifying and documenting the specific actions/activities to be performed to produce the project deliverables.

• Establishing the relationships among the project activities.
• Estimating the number of work periods needed to complete individual activities with the estimated resources.
• Analyzing activity sequences, durations, resource requirements, and schedule constraints to create the project schedule model for project execution and monitoring and controlling.
• Monitoring the status of the project to update the project schedule and manage changes to the schedule baseline.
• Defining how the project costs will be estimated, budgeted, managed, monitored, and controlled.
• Developing an approximation of the monetary resources needed to complete the project work.
• Determining the project budget by aggregating the estimated costs of individual activities to establish the project cost baseline.
• Controlling the project cost through monitoring the status of the project to update the project costs and manage changes to the cost baseline.
• Ensure HVAC and chiller project deliverables meet defined quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Identifying quality requirements and/or standards for the project and its deliverables and documenting how the project will demonstrate compliance with quality requirements and/or standards.
• Monitoring and recording the results of executing the quality management activities to assess performance and ensure the project outputs are complete, correct, and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma (or Equivalent) Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related Science.
Experience
6–7 years of relevant project management experience
Experience with HVAC and chiller systems in nuclear or large industrial facilities
Track record of having Maintenance and Project Execution experience of online/outage projects.
