Job Title: Senior Commercial and Billing Supervisor (Teslam)
Job Purpose
Lead and manage the effective retention and acquisition of customers through market awareness, offerings development and transparent relationship management including ensuring the generation of timely and accurate billing and related commercially relevant information.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Cost Assurance / Charge Back
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Design cost assurance methodology and invoicing structure; lead and approve relevant procedure development.
• Review monthly reports developed by cost assurance / change back billing section; provide feedback and enhancement recommendations, approved final reports and invoices further distribution.
• Meet with internal stakeholders to discuss monthly invoices and reports as well as service utilization and cost. Proactively explain the methodology and cost breakdown structure to create clear understanding and transparency in cost allocation.
• Define the scope of periodic self-assessments for cost assurance / charge back & billing process; review and approve self-assessment plan, report and corrective action recommendations.
• Manage internal stakeholders through continuous engagement in day-to-day operations to understand the business requirements, stakeholders’ expectations and needs and align it with the process to achieve maximum efficiency in service delivery.
• Lead design and development of cost assurance / charge back billing framework and cost allocation structure. Ensure compliance to corporate strategy and teslam objectives
Commercial & Billing Operations
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Review teslam contracts utilization reports, direct observation actions and recommend/approve modifications required to align contracts.
• Lead the development of analytic reports, review supply chain contracts performance. Reach out teslam management and corporate management to communicate and address important highlights and observations.
• Review and approve data provided for utilization report and cost segmentation.
• Lead development of budget encumbrance strategy and contract management strategy. Oversee budget availability and encumbrance reports, provide feedback on any challenges and corrective actions to ensure smooth operations through budget availability in suppliers’ agreements.
• Pioneer the initiatives to support overall corporate and teslam strategy and objectives; strive achieving commercial viability in teslam service portfolio.
• Manage overall billing process, monitor effectiveness reports and coordinate with all stakeholders accordingly.
• Ensure one-time issuance of invoices to departments and payments release to suppliers with higher level of accuracy.

• Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others, and corporate assets.
• Ensure compliance with Business Continuity and Resilience requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to the effective planning for, and response to, incidents or business disruptions to continue critical business processes and activities with minimal adverse impact.

• Manage the effective achievement of the Organization’s objectives by setting individual targets, developing, and motivating staff, and providing formal and informal constructive feedback and appraisal – to maximize subordinate and Section’s performance.
• Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy.
• Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance.
