Job Title: Senior Cost Control Engineer
Job Purpose
To provide centralized cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting support across all CPO projects and departmental initiatives, ensuring consistent cost management, performance monitoring, and executive reporting.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Key Responsibilities
• Lead cost control activities across all assigned projects and department portfolios.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and expenditures.
• Prepare and consolidate monthly department cost reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Monitor project cost performance and identify cost variances, trends, and potential risks.
• Support preparation of annual budgets, business plans, and periodic forecast updates.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Controls, Finance, Contracts, and Engineering teams to ensure cost data accuracy and consistency.
• Review project funding requirements and monitor budget utilization.
• Develop cost performance indicators and reporting metrics for management decision-making.
• Maintain project cost breakdown structures, cost coding, and reporting standards across projects.

Professional Certifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Cost Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 8 years of cost control, project controls, budgeting, and forecasting experience on large capital projects, infrastructure, EPC, or major construction programs.
