Job Title:  Senior Emergency Preparedness Training Instructor (NAWAH)

Job Purpose

Implement the Barakah Onsite Emergency Preparedness Training Program, while ensuring alignment with the Offsite trainings and providing maintenance of the program as appropriate.

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Manage the Nawah Emergency Preparedness Training Program Manual and other documentation governing the planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of emergency preparedness training to ensure alignment with applicable procedures and governance.

File training-related findings and opportunities for improvement into a formal corrective action program, in order to track those items to completion.

• Monitor the availability of training facilities, equipment, and communications systems required to support emergency preparedness-related training activities.Validate that sufficient simulator time is scheduled to support emergency preparedness-related training activities, as appropriate.

• Provide input in the development/revision and delivery of the emergency preparedness training program, as appropriate to ensure organizational excellence.
• Oversee the development of the training matrices for personnel assigned to the Nawah emergency response organization and other individuals requiring emergency preparedness-related training in order to maintain records for staff.
• Monitor the emergency preparedness training program database in order to maintain records for staff.Provide assistance to maintain the Emergency Plan Training Program to ensure it is up to date.

Professional Certifications

Certified as a qualified instructor for the material being presented.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Certification.
• 5 years of relevant experience, out of which:
  - 3 months in a Nuclear Power Plant. Must have demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other Physical Science discipline generally associated with power plant operations.
• 5 years’ experience related to Nuclear Emergency Preparedness at an operating nuclear power plant.
