Job Purpose

Implement performance improvement initiatives in the respective Engineering Division (Plant Engineering or Strategic Engineering) by performing, reviewing, developing technical analyses, trending and monitoring through the observation program and excellence/trajectory plan development and implementation.

Activity:

Corrective Action Program (CAP) Program, Processes and Trending

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide support to the respective Engineering Division for the administration and organizational management of the Corrective Action Program (CAP) program within the division.
  • Develop and monitor program requirements including fleet-level procedures and revisions, policies, any accompanying software, etc... to ensure guidance is distributed and followed.
  • Develop fleet-level program performance monitoring tools, including fleet standard Key Performance Indicator (KPI) structure and performance criteria, etc… to track and improve performance across the fleet.
  • Prepare technical presentations, graphs, and documents to support the articulation of the strategy and tactical planning of the respective Engineering Division.
  • Develop reports for monitoring CAP activities and submit to line manager for review to summarize key CAP activities.
  • Provide input to the development of training programs and content in accordance to the respective Engineering Division to enhance organizational skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate with management via reports and structured feedback with all employees to ensure leadership is aware of key information.
  • Conduct periodic trending for specific issues related to the respective Engineering Division and submit reports to the line manager for review to mitigate identified issues.
  • Perform real-time trending via Barakah Integrated Trending System (BITS) to inform decision making.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide input to the design, development, and implementation of NPI Culture of Safety programs for Nawah's nuclear fleet to comply with FANR, IAEA, WANO, or other related industry standards.
  • Implement the Corporate Nuclear Safety Culture Enhancement Plan (as directed) and actively communicate with corporate and/or plant/site stakeholder for programmatic changes to NPI Culture of Safety programs/processes to ensure successful adoption.

Provide assistance in conducting the Annual Culture of Safety Communication and Engagement Plan to ensure continuous awareness and education amongst Nawah employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

 

  • 5 years of related work experience.

 

Or equivalent as stated in the Job Description Procedure (HR-PRC-0004).

 

2 years’ performing CAP activities within a nuclear facility, or

 

2 years’ experience implementing OE in nuclear facility, or

 

2 years’ experience implementing HU/SA/BM in nuclear facility

Experience

•    Ideal candidate should hold relevant certification aligned with ISO 18436 standards (commonly referred to as ISO 436 in discussion).

Specific expertise required includes:
o    Oil Analysis (Lubricant Condition Monitoring and Diagnostics)
o    Vibration Analysis (Machine Vibration Condition Monitoring)
o    Predictive Analysis
o    Plant Experience as per the JD
