Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer (ENEC)
Job Purpose
To lead planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, forecasting, and reporting activities across all departmental projects and initiatives, ensuring management has accurate and timely information for decision-making and portfolio oversight.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated schedules for all departmental projects and programs.
• Coordinate planning activities across multiple projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and key milestones.
• Prepare and consolidate weekly, monthly, and executive-level project reports and dashboards.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule variances, trends, risks, and recovery opportunities.
• Perform critical path analysis and schedule impact assessments.
• Develop project forecasts, recovery plans, and what-if scenario analyses.
• Support development and maintenance of portfolio-level schedules and departmental master plans.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Operations, and other

stakeholders to obtain schedule updates and validate progress.
• Establish and maintain project planning standards, reporting templates, and schedule governance processes.
• Support business planning, annual objectives, and strategic initiatives through schedule development and performance tracking.
• Prepare management presentations, KPI reports, and executive summaries.
• Support risk identification and mitigation planning related to project schedule performance.
• Ensure consistency between project schedules, progress measurement, resource plans, and departmental reporting.
• Maintain planning databases, progress tracking tools, and schedule control systems.
• Provide planning support for management reviews, audits, governance meetings, and executive decision-making.
Professional Certifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
Minimum 8 years of planning and scheduling experience on large capital projects, infrastructure, EPC, or major construction programs.
