Job Title: Uranium Fuel Buyer Lead
Job Purpose
To Lead and Support the activities of Uranium fuel procurement and contract administration, including development of tender documents, evaluation of bidders, negotiations and final recommendation and award of contracts, along with contract management.

Policies and Procedures
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Comply with Nuclear Fuel Procurement Policies, Procedures and Processes in order to ensure alignment within the Nuclear Fuel Management Department and generally across ENEC/BOC Departments including Finance, Legal, Procurement and Supply Chain, etc.
Nuclear Fuel Procurement
Responsibility:
• Support the development of nuclear fuel supply procurement of tender documents, evaluation of bidders, negotiations and final recommendation and award of contracts.
• Support development and maintenance of sustainable and rolling EUP procurement plan to support ENEC power generation forecasts.
• Constantly monitor the marketplace exploring various opportunities to enhance the supply portfolio and strengthen security of supply at lowest prices.
• Implement periodic reporting of EUP procurement plan costs and schedules.
• Develop presentations to management to provide them with the required updates regarding the nuclear fuel needs and related activities
• Participate and attend meetings with suppliers to build and maintain relationships with new companies and vendors and to obtain a better understanding on the new updates in the industry

Nuclear Fuel Contract Administration
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Ensure economical functioning of the portfolio of the nuclear fuel contracts
• Effectively manage signed contracts to support timely fuel fabrication and delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement
Responsibility:
• Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships.
Professional Certifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any field of Engineering.
Experience
• 6 years in supervisory role experience in nuclear fuel procurement and/or contract administration at a nuclear utility or selling nuclear fuel related products and services as a nuclear fuel supplier
• Experience in dealing with nuclear and other regulatory agencies regarding contract management
• Negotiating experience in 4 or more years in the international nuclear fuel procurement or supply
• Experience in performing financial analysis, business process analysis, economic forecasting and modeling International nuclear fuel contract management experience
