Job Purpose

Undertake measurements and verification of Contractor’s quantities and progress to support payment in accordance with the Contact.    

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Engage in and promote Safety Culture throughout the project, with particular emphasis on maintaining safe practices and conditions while performing field work verification.  
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•    Adhere to procedures and in conjunction with construction team ensure appropriate quality throughout the project, while performing field work verification.  
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Oversight of Contractor’s field work to measure quantities and progress, comprising field surveys to capture ongoing quantities and progress, and joint surveys to capture interim month end quantities and progress.
Quantity & Progress Verification 
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Perform review and measurement of quantities and progress to enable precise monthly reporting and warranted recommendation upon which monthly payment can be based.

•    Support role in identifying work related information for capture in the BoK.

Professional Certifications

RICS member, equivalent in related engineering, or moving towards professional certification

Qualifications

Min - Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or related engineering.

Pref - Degree in Quantity Surveying or related engineering

Experience

Min - 2 years’ experience working in a construction environment. 

Pref - 5 years’ experience working in a construction environment conducting quantity survey and site verification work
